No more than the rest of Seattle. There are a lot of hippies, but of late it's more rock/indie stuff than hippie stuff, and the artisan crafts there are amazing. Band-wise, this year Nada Surf, Neko Case, Beck, Band of Horses, Stone Temple Pilots, The Offspring, Death Cab for Cutie, Superchunk, Old 97s, and TONS of amazing local bands were there!
